Nematode analyses

The routine nematode analysis of soil and root material is performed to determine which plant parasitic nematodes are present in the sample.

These nematodes  occur both in the soil and roots and could be detrimental to the planted crops.

The aim of this analysis is to extract the nematodes from the soil and roots to identify, count and then make a recommendation.

The nematode bio-indicator test is performed to determine which free-living nematodes are present in the sample.

These nematodes live freely in the soil and feed on a variety of other organisms

The aim of this analysis is to determine the diversity of free-living nematodes and to calculate the different indices pertaining to soil health.
